The Graduale Choir, established 30 years ago, performs sacred choral music in Helsinki. In past years our repertoire has included works by Bach, Handel, Mozart, Haydn, Schubert, Brahms, Mozart and Fauré.
Our mixed choir, presently comprising some 50 singers, is currently practising J. S Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. This is to be performed in Olari Church 1.12.2023 at 19.00.
We also practise for our christmas consert Gradualen Joulu, that is to be performed 15.12.2023 in Lauttasaari Church. This program consists of christmas songs and parts of Handel’s Messiah Oratorio and parts of Durufle’s Requiem.
We welcome new singers! We practise Wednesday evenings, from 6-9 pm in Mäkelänrinteen lukio, Mäkelänkatu 47, Helsinki.
We have an open rehearsal 27.9.2023 from 18-19.30, welcome!
Spring 2024, we practise Durufle’s Requiem and Four Motets, to be performed with the Academic Male Choir Psaldo 16.5.2023 in Tapiola Church.
